In my (not so) humble opinion, this commissioned piece, 12” diameter USMC emblem is the most beautiful stained glass piece I have done in over 35 years of working in stained glass. There are 95 individual pieces of glass, some no larger than a finger nail clipping; each cut, ground copperfoiled and soldered. The buyer is going to Cricut the “Semper Fidelis” banner the eagle holds in its mouth and the white “United States Marine Corps” lettering that goes on the black glass surrounding the eagle, globe, and anchor.
I realize the price is a bit “steep,” but the degree of difficulty and the 60 hours of work to create it justify the price.
