During multiple moves around Europe and the US over the past 25+ years, I carried around the "pebbled" amber and clear English muffle glass pieces [see window on the left], and the old English 'rose" and stem pieces of glass [center window]. There were not enough of the original pieces to make a complete window - but, "voila!" I found glass that was so close in texture and color, that I was able to recreate the window; the one on the left is almost entirely original vintage English glass, the one on the right is my reproduction, with only the amber diamonds being original; and the rose is my recreation using only handful of the original glass and with the addition of rondels [the round amber/orange pieces at the corners] and modern amber English muffle glass surrounding the rose. YOU CAN BE FORGIVEN IF YOU CANNOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE ~100 YEAR OLD WINDOW AND THE NEW ONE. (I have to look closely myself!)
